I finaly was able to get my new stroker motor in my car. It is amazing, it halls balls. My last 289 ran realy well, but this one puts that one to shame. I got a 13.4 with the 289 on street tires. I wont be surprized if i get a low 12 with street tires with this engine, and probobly into the 11s with slicks. 1st gear is pretty much worth less and i have to baby the throttle in second otherwize it just spins also. I read an article with the same set up as mine and they had 505 horse power. I have a larger Cam and carb. So im hoping to get close to that. here are the specs. 332 stroker, 11/1 compression, solid roller cam, AFR 185 heads, victory jr intake, hooker super comp headers, Mighty demon 750, all msd iginition..... um what else..... i cant think of anything at the moment. Well im sure there is somethign i am forgetting.
