I recently purchased a 70 Mach 1 project. The previous owner had started some of the body repairs and had purchased new sheetmetal for other areas. One area that I don't have a replacement for yet is the firewall right above the torque box on the passenger side. I have looked at several parts suppliers websites and the only thing I have found is a patch panel for 65-68 cars. From the photo of the part it looks very close to what I need but I'm sure there is some difference, otherwise it would be listed for the later years as well. Does anyone know if there is a similar part available for the 1970 body? If not, what is the difference and can I make this piece work? Thanks.
