FINALLY got my MM subframes welded in today. I have to say that they made a pretty big difference. I didn't think that the coupe had as much body roll as it does, and after the intall I could tell the difference right away!! Hard steering around corners is much improved, as the body roll is WAAAY down. feels much firmer on the road too. I DEF. recommend these to anyone and everyone! For as cheap as they are, they should be a no-brainer. I can honestly say I am pleased. Very nicely engineered units. I don't know why ford didn't connect the frame on the coupes out of the factory like they did with the verts!

Cool I'm looking into some suspension work and will be putting in subframes along with springs and shocks. How much did the subs cost?

I got mine direct from Max. Motorsports for $149, a bargain considering their excellent quality

Subframes are a necessity, no matter if you have a coupe or a vert.

$120 for the subframes, $75 to get them welded in. GREAT upgrade vs. price!

I had subframes on my 00GT. How far do these come down in relation to where the exhaust is at?

how low the subframes are isn't the main concern, your rear swaybar hangs the lowest

Thats what I had last time was the standard size. They hung lower. I shouldn't have bought the no name crap subframe connectors. Thats why i asked.

Looks good. You may want to hit that front weld with some paint, as it will rust.

yeah, I had the installer just leave a few spots bare, as it was getting late (preg. wife at home), and I had to get going so I could get home and cook dinner. Todays project is hitting those areas with a wire wheel, prepping, and priming and painting the welds properly.
