Hello all , this is my first time on here and I just got my first mustang . It's a 1995 gt 5.0 5 speed , it's excellent shape , it's already had some mods , like full bassani exhaust , ported intake manifold, underdrive pulleys and emissions delete. And it's got a new clutch and short throw shifter , the car feels really good now , but I know it could be faster , I was wondering if anyone could insight on what my cars hp might be at now? And what next mods I can do and still keep it reliable and daily driver ready . Thanks in advance !

im with madspeed on this one these two mods will help with every other mods you will do in the future. I would only do these mods however if the car is 100% such as control arm bushings (front and rear upper and lowers) as well as shocks, struts, brakes and tune up items. if those items are not 100% you should replace/ upgrade those items first.

Oil pan gasket and rear main seal. If they aren't leaking now, they will be soon.

Subframe connectors for sure.

Assuming the car is road worthy like David mentioned.

What are your plans for the car? Is it daily transportation? I'd concentrate on subframe connectors, brakes, suspension and wheels/tires. If you're happy with current setup and just want to improve acceleration I'd go with rear gears(I like 3.73 but some people think they are too much for a dd). As far as making more power you can add the power adder of your choice. Forced induction,H/C/I ,etc with the appropriate accessories.

chassis first. it doesnt matter what you do to the suspension, or the engine/drive train, if the chassis is still the wet noodle ford built. sub frame connectors are a start, but i would add the extreme matrix brace and jacking rails that kenny brown developed for the fox body. that stiffens up the chassis nicely and gives you a solid foundation for just about anything up to a full on race car. if you feel the need for a stiffer chassis, then a full roll cage needs to go in.

I did 3G 130 Amp (probably should have gone a lil higher) Alternator as one of my first actual mods, I really liked being able to have EVERY accessory on and not die at a stop sign

Very easy, if you don't get really stiff wire and crappy ring terminals like I did......

3:55-3:73 depending on the driver
They're less than $200 depending on the style and pretty simple to install. Do not get a bolt in style unless you plan to weld them as well.

Subframe connectors 1st, then good heads and call it a day until you have enough dough to put on a Kenne Bell.

what gear i recommend depends on what you plan to do with the car. if you want a street/strip car, with the emphasis on street, then i recommend a 3.25-3.55 gear. with a light car you dont need a lot of gear to get going. if the emphasis is more on strip then go with no more than the 3.73 gears. just remember the more rear gear you run, the sooner you are pulling for second gear.

I also agree with gears! I've had both 3.55's and 3.73's and currently have 3.73's in my '88 vert.

Since your engine is still mostly stock, 3.73's will make it feel like a million bucks. Great all around fun on a car with stockish power.
However, 3.55's are just as fun! It will still feel strong but you will have a little better cruising rpm on the highway.
Since you mentioned that it is a daily driver, I recommend the 3.55's. My '89 SSC had those and I really enjoyed driving that car.

In short, either gear will add "ton o fun" over the stock gears.
