ok, the cars in the shop right now for a full checkup and tune up so when it gets out sometime next week i want to have some plans for it

im gonna be workin on a very tight budget (seeing as i dont work right now) so i cant do everything i want like gears and heads and whatnot, but the simple things i can do in the driveway like CAI, exhaust cat-back, shifter, TB, you know, nothing too in depth that i need specialized tools for

so on a budget of say 300-500 whats the first things you would do to a 100% stock 1996 GT 5spd?

actually, you can do gears with $500. i paid about $475 for EVERYTHING. 4.10 gears+ shipping, friction modifier, rear end lube (no joke intended), speedcal, and installation. you might even pay less i think b/c 96s dont need the $100 speedcal chip, just the $50 speedo gear. my gears are the best mod so far, and many would agree the best overall (with the exception of a power adder).

really, pulleys and T/a are gonna be the best bang for the buck on a stock 2v?

and if i do the MAF, Tbody, and C&L after that, will i need bigger injectors (what size are stockers anyway?)

If I calculate right, 410s should give you 80 mph at around 3K?

Am I off here guys?
