Alright I'm gonna run my firtst quarter mile this evening. Predictions anyone?
the 05 is slightly modded c&l and diablo sports perf tune i'm runnin 91 octane. I got a little more traction with some 275 tires on the rear and 255 in the front. We'll see i'm gunnin for 13 is it possible? :flag:

Well I have a ProCharger on my 2005 Manual and an exhaust with@9 psi and nitto drag radials and I ran 13.0 @111.0 MPH 5 times in a row. My sixth time I hit a 12.9 @ 112 Mph. I was having traction problems in first every time Though. Thats a half a tank of gas and everything else inthe car. It was 4000lbs.

I went to the track last Wednesday paid my cash and ran three times, 1st run 13.130 at 104 mph, 2nd run 13.612 at 103 mph 3rd run at 102 mph. It was not bad for my first time out according to the spectators and a buddy. The car has had quite a work out the last week. We then went to Los Angeles Thursday and what a rocket this car was getting up the grapevine. I also got challenged by a red 05 GTO when I got into LA. I heard him rev his engine and I heard the turbo on it. So I gave him the thumbs up I stuck with him off the line at the light and he was a little behind me then all of a sudden he passed me up by a good car length. I heard the air rev when he went by so I think he had some sort of turbo on it. I thought it would have been closer if I did not have luggage and 2 more passengers and the car had been running for 7 hours. He was cool when I got to him at the light compliments were exchanged. Sorry to get a little off topic. :D

13.1 is pretty awesome. Especially considering it's an automatic and N/A. Compared to a 470hp SC'd car doing 13.0/12.9, that's really impressive. We need some more solid ProCharged 05 e/t's though, I don't think 12.9 is even close to the potential of the ProCharger. The trap speed, e/t ratio points to bad traction or maybe bad driver.

Where in CA are you sacrstang?

Eat a :nice:

 Not a very nice reaction. Have you looked into what might be causing you to run such bad times? I mean honestly, it can't be the car or supercharger because the power has been proven on a dyno sheet, right? And it's a manual right? So no power loss there. I'm seriously interested because I have been planning on working with ProCharger on my project '05, but if the times are sluggish, maybe there's a better alternative, which I hate to say because I really love ProCharger and have a D-1SC on my 71 Chevelle.

with a reaction like that it just re-afirms that it must be driver related.

Unless at high altitude the ET is way off, so is the trap speed. A stock Camaro SS M6 should be running 12.8 @107-8mph with about 310-320rwhp stock with normal road tyres NOT DR's!

Nolyaw is claiming 470rwhp in a car of the same weight so even with low grip they should be trapping 120mph+. A s/c Cobra with a mear 360rwhp will trap 112-116mph and still running IRS and stock tyres.

I think one of the magazines got quarter mile times around 11.70 with the procharger

I live in Sacramento. The hc trap was taken off when I went to get the CIA and tune a couple weeks ago. Yeah I do think if a supercharger and a gear change was applied to the car I think someone should be lookin at low 12's or below that. I did have the spare out of the trunk and the BBS rims on my car seem to weigh next to nothing with pretty good grip in the rear.

Prochargers car (Willy Diaz's car, the red one in the ad and on the website, that says MAK performance on the windshield) ran a best of 11.7 @118 MPH @ 9 PSI. His car was 3850 lbs, had a h-pipe, (no cats) and a 4:10 gear. He also had wrinkle wall slicks. I know this because I have talked with him. This time was his best after several runs and much tuning. He helped write the program. He also had to replace the clutch with a HD piece to achieve this time. Prochargers ad claims "in the 11's", not a specific time. Since then, he has also had to put in a Detroit locker rear end and HD axels. He also lost 3rd gear in his tranny. But this is his business, so he is intentionally abusive. He is currently @ 518 RWHP @ 14 PSI. He says the motor is holding up fine. He also ran this time in februrary in Florida. This means low barometric pressure. It was very ideal conditions for intercooled boost. I made my run with an ambient of 92 degrees and a humidity of 100%. Hardly ideal. Its not much of an excuse, but I didnt have wrinkle walls either. Or a 4.10 gear. The car has 1700 miles on it, and I put the blower on, took 2 test drives, and went to the track. Not much experience with it this way. I was excited to see some huge numbers, and I did on the dyno, just not at the track. Yet. Soon enough I'll have all the mods I need to feel comfortable pounding on the car run after punishing run.
