Besides replacing an alternator and battery (mine are already new) what else should I look into doing to fix my dimming problem (i am not running pullies either). Should I just replace all the cables? Like the alternator one and both battery cables? Any advice?
yep, i would go over all the power grounds and primary power connections. cables can rot from the inside out. i often run extra ground cables and upgrade power cables for the sake of doing so.
you can do voltage/amp drop tests to narrow down the poor circuits/connections.
one of the problems with our cars is the ALT dosent put out full charge untill 900rpms and idle is set at about 600. if it bothers you a lot you can find an overdrive pully for the alt
