Flashing light?

My check engine light flashes and my car wont run it just turns over. I have tried to pull the codes but all i get is a bunch of smog and egr codes. Any help? its cutting fire and it randomly does it

The CEL flashes while you crank the engine over?

Have you tested for spark and injector firing?

yea its cutting the spark. it just happens so randomly its hart to figure it out

Just for a place to start at, do a good visual inspection of the whole ignition system and make sure all cables and connectors are tight.

Sometimes some dumb little thing can cause a world of trouble.

Throw a Holley 600cfm on it with an MSD 6AL and be done with it.
