Since I lower the car using sportline, my $19.99 Walmart floor jack does not fit under the car anymore
So who makes affordable lower hight jack? anyone know?

how much is it too tall by? if it's only an inch or less, just have someone else lift up on the wheel well. you can get another inch or two of room that way. that's what i do.

Cut two pieces, 12 to 16 inches each, of 2x12. Drive the car onto the wood and you will get the 1.5" of drop back for the jack to fit.

I have 3 pieces for each side to allow the car to be lifted 4.5" and still able to use the jack stands for other things if needed.

I have a Craftsman 3ton floor jack...had the same problem so I bought a cheap $10 sissor jack, I just use the sissor jack on one side to raise the body slightly just enough to get the floor jack under the K member.

Take your jack out of your trunk and jack the car up a little on the pinchweld behind one of the front tires. Then, slip the floor jack under.

Or use the wood idea. Thats what I'm going to start doing. Using a second scissor jack can be a pain when letting the car down and you're by yourself. You have to be able to watch and make sure that the car comes down just right onto the scissor jack or you might bend something. If you have a second person that can spot you, fine.

I took an old jack, I think it was for a s-10, and cut the handle off. Now all I need is a long extension for my ratchet and a 3/4 inch socket. I couldn't get anything under mine after putting on my H&R SS springs. But this should work ok. good luck
