Floor Problem

I am going to put my 88 back on the road but I need to get it through inspection first, the only thing I need to fix before getting it through is a couple holes in the floor. I have one where my seat bolts in and it runs about 8 inches down the side by the rocker panel and another where a back passengers feet would be. What should I do to fix them? Should I cut out the bad spots and just weld in new sheet metal or are there any kind of floor board kits I can buy. Its not very bad and wouldnt take much work to fix but I dont know how I should do it. Also where should I get a new windshield from and how much can I expect to pay?

I was just searching and found that you can buy floor pans and they dont even cost that much. About $115 for each side.

Im having alot of trouble trying to find a window. I am trying to price out everything I need and the only thing I cant find is a windshield. Anyone know of any sites to check or where the best pace would be to pick one up, and a price range would help alot to. Thanks.
