Still waiting on the headers.........

Remembered that I have never gotten set of headers that came with decent gaskets.

Found a set of Mr. Gasket laminated gaskets @ Summitracing.com
(MRG-7558 Exhaust Gaskets, Header, Ultra Seal, Laminated Steel Core, Stock Port, Ford, Modular V8, Pair $20.39)

Also reading the JBA thread where JBA recommended replacing the motor mounts w/Steeda mounts. (Looking at the collector-to-frame distance I can see why) I ordered a set of Prothane Billet Urethane Mounts. Also from Summit.
(PTP-6-505 MOTOR MOUNTS $159.95)

I called Jegs and they have no clue yet and Holley is closed today (Jan 2).

I won't be back from vacation for another week as it is.

Well I called Jegs again and they "hope" to get "some" in by 1/24/06.

Great!!

But when I tried to pin them down they had no idea of the ship date for sure
just like my last ship date was supposed to be 12/31/05, and I ordered on 12/16/05.
I called Holley support and they had no shipping info as of yet to any of their vendors with no inhouse stock either.
Called Summit and they said possibly early Feb.
Called Jegs back canceled the Flowtech order.

Confirmed they had the Hooker 6233-1 LT ceramics in stock and ordered them instead. $614.99 + zero shipping.

Moderator: Please close this thread since I'll start a new one once I actually receive the Hookers..........
Thanks
Paul

Ahhh...

No only the 1 5/8".
They also sell clones of the FRPP shorties. (Probably make them for Ford).

my hookers say they will work with the stock hpipe in the instructions also but it mentions that you must shorten your stock hpipe... obviously
