I have a flowmaster cat back also. I have had it for 4 or 5 years now, holds up good. It generates that typical "mustang" sound.

Same here! 2-1/2" catback since 93. I've been happy with mine and they've held up really nice.

40 Series Cat Back sounds awesome, but I have an X pipe, and headers.

You will notice a big difference in sound.

I picked up my catback for $225, and installled it myself.

I run the 2 1/2" cat back American Thunder flowmaster kit from Holcomb motorsports........with an 2 1/2" Mac off road X-pipe and there is nothing sweeter IMHO!............I even run stock shorties with it and it sounds great.

40 series = old 2 chamber
50 series = old 3 chamber

3 chamber is a tad bit quiter............but I love the louder sound, its not to loud (as I run tailpipes that are supplied with the kit) but actually just right!

Will this catback bolt up to an 85 mustang. My car doesnt have true duals yet but I was just wondering if it will bolt up to the stock y pipe until i save up for headers and a midpipe.

yea alot of forums, like svtperformance has a video and photo forum, i think we should have that... trying to find sound clips and such wouldnt be so dificult, and that would be a very popular forum, and about flowmasters, yes, they are awsome
