I bought a set of original 40 series flows off my friend with flowtubes, they came off of a supercharged 85 GT...my question is will the flowmaster tails still slip into them like a reg flowmaster catback? the mufflers are 2.5" i would have too cut the rest of the old piping off them (it's less than an inch) i am getting flowmaster tips off someone on another site the tips are from a 94 cobra. I will also be selling my mac catback with 2.5" chrome tips and also have a set of 3" tips that i will be selling separately. any input would be great, also does anyone have a pic of thier install with the tips? thanks guy's

hows the fit of the flowmaster tailpipes and the catback as a whole? lots of trimming or any rubbing? i had been considering going with their catback since people seem to think it fits very nicely and just replacing the mufflers with some that are the same size, but straight through design

thanks man!! yeah, the 3" catback was just a little 2 loud for my liking, plus i missed that flowmaster sound. i'm still running the 1 3/4 headers with the 3" collector and a 3" pro-chamber, i just swapped out the 3" catback for a 2.5" version.

it actually fit pretty good. i need to get some better clamps to clamp where the tailpipe slides into the muffler, i really dont want to use the clamps flowmaster supplied.
