Hey all!

Hope to get some light onto this little dilemma I'm having here..

I can get a flowmaster catback for 100 bucks from a friend... Which is a good deal because the stockers on my GT are on their way out...

Here is the catch, The Flows are from a 99-04 GT... And my car is a 96 GT vert...
Now I know that the rear exhaust hangers were different from the 95-97, and then changed to a new style in the 98-04 cars. I happen to have these new style exhaust hangers in my possession.

So my question is as follows: Will the 99-04 Flomaster catback work on my 96GT if i use the new style rear exhaust hangers???

Thanks a bunch!!!! Appreciate everyones help on this subject!:SNSign:

EDIT: The car also has a UPR offroad X on it... Don't know if that makes any difference...

It should fit just fine. The tail pipes might have some clearance issues and you will have to make ur own hangers. Might look funny depending on how far the tips go back.

Cool... Thanks a bunch.

I guess I'll buy it off him, 100 isn't that bad even if I have to take it to a muffler shop and have them weld on some new hangers...

Any other opinions fellers? Like has anyone ever actually done this before haha... I don't really mind being the guinea pig though..

Never done it, but I don't see it giving you any major issues.

UPDATE: Put the catback on. It fit perfectly with NO issues. jsut had to drill the rear bumper bar for the new style hangers. It's all gravy and looks/sounds amazing...
