Flowmaster D-Port? Just a special "x-pipe"????

I saw an ad for this pipe in fast fords and mustangs. I wonder how it sounds/performs. Too bad its just a universal fitting type thing....

What do you guys think? Any one else heard or seen one before?Here is the link for the pdf page...

i dunno, it should be decent coming from flowmaster... it'll probably rust up though.

i always wondered why the pipes have to cross at all, why don't they just stay separate all the way out?

BTW, how much is it?

Im pretty sure that on v-8's, atleast ours, that on one complete power cycles, that 2 cylinders fire on one side right after each other, thuse each exhaust header has different pressures. We have to run the pipes to allow the exhaust to equalize pressures on each side for maximum power. You can run without one, but you will lose power.

I think they are around $250, same as a prochamber. I wonder if they will sound good or just like an X.

I love that prochamber sound.

That is a really wierd looking mid-pipe if you ask me. I'm not gonna put it down until I see some numbers from it though.
