Flowmaster offset question

Im looking for a good place to buy 40 series flows for my 04 stang, it is stock and I plan to have them welded on.

What inlet/outlet offset sicze do i need for stock pipes, or does it even matter being they will be welded on?

I thik choices are 2.25, 2.50, 3.00??

And also, Anyone know a place I could get a pair as cheaply as possible that is a ligit place?

i ordered my 40 series from an ebay store performancepeddler. I think they were 2.25 offset/offset but not really sure you can search google and find that out easily. I paid around $40 each and had the local muffler shop weld them on. The sound is 100 times better than stock.

also, partshopper.com that stangnet indorses has a pic of an offset inleft but not outlet, Im guessing its just a pic, but Im guessing that woul dbe my best bet?

I've got the 2.5 inch delta 40's from a local muffler shop. I don't know if I was supposed to get that size since the stock size is 2.25, but they work fine.
It's offset/offset for GT's

just ordered the non delta flows off partshopper.. (Louder better, why pay for quiter?) with 2.5, anyway, thanks guys
