Some of you may remember about a month ago, I was whining about my new Flowmasters not sounding loud enough. Well, I was talking with my brother about it and he insisted that as they get "broken in" they will get louder. Crazy thing is, I think he's right. I was back there today cleaning the car with the engine running, and I swear it sounds quite a bit louder than when the dual exhaust setup was first put on. I mentioned to one of my Mustang club friends that the Flowmasters seem louder, and he's like "oh yeah, I'm sure they are, now that there's some miles on them." What, was I the only schmuck who didn't know about that? 
So now I'm waiting for these to get broken in to the point where I'm running 12 second quarter miles in my automatic V6! 
Anyway, has anyone else heard of new exhaust systems getting louder? Or am I just dreaming?
