Can a 50oz flywheel and 50oz damper be used on an early 28oz 289 engine? I read somewhere that all SBF cranks are the same and it would be fine as long as you dont use different ones on both sides of the crank.
The reason i ask is i can get a fairly new late model flywheel and balancer for cheap. and by cheap i mean free. i was thinkin about doin this so i could run a late model 10.5inch clutch setup, as i will be replacing my clutch soon anyway.
