ok I got this 87 LX with an auto trans. Ive got this knock that I am pretty sure is a cracked flywheel. Could be a rod or wristpin or something else, but Im gonna gamble and say the flywheel is cracked because the sound changes a bit when I put it in gear. My question is are all flywheels the same? I have one from an 88 model. Will it work? Ive heard the flywheels changed some through the years and use of the wrong one will cause the motor to be unbalanced. Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks chris
