im swapping a 351Clevland into my 69 mustang which has a I6 with the original 3 spd tranny... what flywheel will i want to be using with the 351 and i cant reuse the one from the I6 right??
thanks
Depends on what bellhousing you're using. There are two size bells for the Cleveland, either 157 tooth or 164. The six flywheel's neutral balanced, can't use it on a Cleveland. The Cleveland uses the same flywheels the 289/302 uses---28 oz/in.
What engine did the bell come off of ? 302 or a 351 ? If it's a 351, it's likely a 164 tooth bell, 302's usually had 157's. You could do a little searching on ebay for "Ford Bellhousing" and see what's listed there as to the casting number and what bell is what.
