Fog Light Re-wire help!

first off, i have a 96 gt vert. i went to this website, http://www.corral.net/tech/exterior/fogliterewire.html, to do the simple fog light rewire so that the fogs will run with only the side markers. i followed all the instructions but when i went to go try it out, the fogs still wouldnt come on with the sides. . does anyone know if these are legit instructions, and if they are, what am i doing wrong? i tried searching stangnet tech forums and i couldnt really find much.. but i did see one that said it might not work becuase i have a vert? so is this the problem? thanks!

all i did when i did mine is splice into the would be switch where the vert top button is so that it was ran off an accessory wire and the fog light switch had power all the time. Then I use the switch to turn them on an off. Those instructions are right they are the ones i used.

Make sure that all the connections are good. I never pushed the wire into the connector i just cut the right one and wired my switch in.
