I have a 1993 Ford Mustang GT.
I have been following some instructions at the following link:

http://www.allfordmustangs.com//Detailed/625.shtml

I got to the point where it says:
Now take the light brown with orange and cut it. Connect the 18 gauge grey wire to the side going to the switch, then connect the yellow 18 gauge to the other side of the light brown /orange wire.

I do not see the 18 gauge gray nor yellow wires that are being described.

Here are some pictures of the wires I have:

I just used the wire going to the fog lights to energize the relay. That way they will come on only if the headlights are on and the fog light switch is closed. Not with parking lamps like they suggest. Its the wire in the fog light plug that is not hot with the headlights on. Good luck.

I retrofited the relay and still do not get any power to the fog lights.

Hmm, that article is not the easiest to scan through.

What is the output terminal (87) showing with the circuit powered up? It should show 12 volts.

86 and 30 should also show 12 volts.

Ensure 85 is grounded.

If those are all there, double check that the correct wire at the fog light switch was cut (and that the output power is going down the correct wire to the fog lights).

Good luck.

Is it the grey/yellow and yellow wires on the ignition switch that they're talking about?

I did the same thing and tapped into the foglight wiring under the hood. I mounted the relay and fuse under the hood next to the battery. No wires to chase or run through the firewall. I have 12 gauge wire for the foglight power and ground. The lights are really bright and I think it is because there is almost no voltage loss with the relay & 12 gauge wire.
