I have a question for you, how would you fix something like this? A little hard to see in the picture but my roof where it meets the top of the hatch is literally rusting out in the middle... I was thinking maybe I could jack the back up and pour some por-15 down into the area until its full. Think that would prevent it from rusting further? Or will I have to pay some body shop to reconstruct my entire roof =/ Bought this thing down in Florida for 2 grand but this escaped my notice until I was back up in Missouri.

roof work can be very expensive. probably cost over $1000 to replace the whole roof

Yeah, I would just grind it out and POR 15 in the seam. Prime and paint.

Pull the hatch, wire wheel the effected area, tape, prep, spray with rust protection of choice, replace hatch, enjoy your fixed roof.

Not sure how deep it goes, what if it goes more than a couple inches?

Yeah wire wheel or die grinder for that area, then do the bodywork. If you dont get it all youll know soon enough and then you can decide if you want to spend that much money on the car.
