$ for an upgrade

I have about $150 to get an upgrade but not sure what to get.

Right now all I have is a MAC CAI, Flowmasters, BBK X-Pipe.

Was thinking pulleys or headers or something else.

Not to excited about putting headers in if I purchase them. Heard its a pain.

Obviously looking for best cost/power gain ratio. So give me some opinions plz.

do the pullies, you WILL feel a difference, the headers are not hard to install as long as there unequal length shorties, but you should do headers in the near future to finish off you exhaust

Shorty's I would use with my setup, correct? They are identical lengths compared to stock, correct?

I was told by a friend who installed headers on a 95 that he had to Move the A/C or the lines to the A/C around to get them in from above.

Do you have any charging issues with the pullies?

do the drivers side from underneath and the pass from the top. if you've never hung headers before get the unequal length and have fun. but i agree with juiced for the pullies

Pulleys are not too bad of a gain for the buck spent kinda mod IMHO.

If your gonna go shorty headers I'd go for the unequal length. If your gonna go for the 300 or better I'd just do lt's and you will get the benefit of more torque as soon as you put em on which you can always use.

After looking at all the post's on pullies verse headers I think I'm going with the BBK headers. I use my A/C often in the summer and the negatives with the pullies outway the positive. I would rather spend the $200 and have a solid upgrade than spend $100 and possibly have issues or only be able to use 2 of the pullies.

i have mac pullies and have no issues with cooling or with the a/c. the bbk headers are good, you wont be dissapointed

Just got back from Foxwoods casino. Played in a holdem tourney, came in 3rd, won $800.

So now I'm thinking it's gear time instead of headers. I did some searching and found most peaople are installing FRPP's. I currently have 3.27's in the car. I guess somebody put a diff. rearend in it before I bought cuz I thought it cam with either 2.73's or 3.08's or something, not sure. So I was thinking of going with 3.73's. I drive on the highway to and from wrk 4 days a week, do between 70 and 90mph, depending on how late I am, lol. The tach is at a hair above 2000RPM's when cruising at 75MPH.

A)Can I expect a huge diff. in acceleration 1st through 3rd?

B)Will I notice a big diff. in RPM's on the highway?

C)Should I go with 4.10's?

D)What can I expect to pay for install because there is no way in hell I'm putting them in.

E)What brand would you recommend, Ford Racing, FRPP, etc..?

F)What other parts should I purchase along with gears....ABS sensor for when they brake it.......I heard someone mention a rebuild kit for something??

Did I mention I love Foxwoods?

A question and a comment for you

The question is do you have a stick or auto trans?

The comment is if you put up a sig with all your mods including your trans type you will get more replies to your Q's.

Now that I know your a stick trans you can see your rpms at various highway speeds with various gear ratios by using this little program

The gap between 355's and 373's is so small you won't notice a difference. You have to go a quarter of a turn before you can feel a difference at all and then it is only a very subtle difference.

IMHO, you will have to go to the 390's to feel a diff.

Just play around with that program and you will know which ratio will be right for you.

Sorry about that......I somehow had the idea you were runnin 355's

Going from 327's to 373's is a change you would definitely feel

btw, I've had my 373's since I was stock and they've worked out pretty good. I might move up to 410's someday.

Wowieee man. They are off the heazy.......fo sheazy = they kick a** man

Went with Ford Racing. Cost was 625.00 with loc rebuild. No friggin noises either.........yet.
