I know that they're making reproduction versions of these that are probably a little more suited to aggressive street or autocross use, but I think that someone building a show car might get a kick out of these cool-looking original tires. I do mean cool, they look like oldschool Formula 1 rain tires.
I'm offering two unmounted original Goodyear Eagle "Gatorback" tires in 225-60VR16 size. They've never been on a wheel, in fact they're still banded together and have the shipping manifest stuck to them. These were for my father's 1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe as replacements for the original factory tires, we never got around to installing them and had to sell the car some years back. It's my understanding that they're also OEM equipment on Mustangs of the same production years.
They're a little dusty from storage, with no damage save for some minor scuffs on the sidewalls from handling.
I'm now asking $200 for the pair, picked up or local meetup.
I'm in Big Rock, Illinois. It's west and a touch south from Aurora.
