One of the things I don't really like about the new cars is that when I rev the engine, the rev carries off rather than snap back to idle. You can't really throw a heavier spring on it like the old carbed cars. I know the programmers help with throttle response. Do they help with this?

Yes, you can have the "throttle hang" reduced or eliminated with a tune.

question, why would you like to reduce the "throttle hang"?
it´s better when accelerating hard and shifting...

(on the other hand, when you upgrade to a light flywheel and pullies, you´ll also notice it revs faster and the snap back to idle will also be faster...)

If your doing any "down shifting" it makes for a quiker down shift and fast stoping time.

Good post, I look forward to geting a tuner even more.

But if you´r making a "hell-toe" you can make it a little bit slower and smoother...
