A new mod for your 03-04 Cobra, the Eaton bypass kit...

A 70 inch belt is required when you run a Billetflow 100mm idler.

Guaranteed to prevent valets from abusing your car and from you getting those pesky speed racing tickets... :D

In truth, you have to laugh at this sucky situation, thanks go to Steeda for making a crappy part that broke off in the snout... :bang:

Oh yes...it's wounderfull...LOL

I"m not sure I even want to drive it...it sounds like it's pre-mei dentonating right now. I'm thinking park it ...until I find a good super and bring it up to All Ford to get it fixed. :)

I agree Steeda Pullers are TRASH stay away!

Oh, we tried and tried and tried and tried and tried... :bang:

We drilled it...tapped it...blah blah...

The pot metal piece actually mushroomed out inside the snout...so the front part was loose...but it was stuck in the snout....cavity behind the threads...nice huh?

Jordon rules...he was a paitent bastard...I wanted to take a pair of channel locks to it...LOL

So I'm looking for a new super charger now.......

read about that in the classifieds. That sucks man. Have you called Eaton or Ford about this? Seems like you might be able to replace that shaft for cheaper than the entire unit. But hey, I'm a computer guy, not a mechanic, and know nothing about these SCs, so feel free to laugh at me if I'm totally wrong.

Hey it a GT now :rlaugh: :rlaugh: just kidding.. that sucks though!! I bet a few SN members have a extra blower they might want to sell... asd or 03yellow
I've had my extra blower so long sitting in a box inside my garage , I think im going to move it to the back yard and make a planter out of it. :D BTW sorry to hear about your blower... thats a bummer, OregonMustang.

Steeda cost me prob $1200 bucks...bastards..
Unless you bend over and take it from Ford for a brand new blower, it won't cost anywhere near that...

1. For $1200 you can get a reconditioned Eaton M112, Steigemeier stage 3 ported, along with a ported plenum and ported stock throttle body.

2. For $400 to $500 you can buy a used Eaton in working condition.

3. For less than that you can take the snout off and have a good machine shop pull the remains of the bolt out.

4. And you could probably buy just the snout, but I don't know the part number. Could look for someone who blew up the internals on their Heaton and see if the snout survived the experience.

Purchased a ported Eaton and a ported Accufab intake plenum comes with a upper ring system with a 2.8 mounted on the steel ring, be here this wednesday morning...now to get inline at Krazy Concepts...logistically it makes more sense...for me to go to Krazy Koncepts.

I have a Diablo tuner and All Ford uses SCT....
And my work is closer to Krazy...I'm sure they are both Outstanding Pro Shops...

Logistics and tuner the primary factor....;)

So yes...it will be done on Thrus....whoooo

I'm stoked..hmmm maybe there was a reason it broke....i.e. I now have a custom blown Super with an Accufab ported plenum with a 2.8 pulley on it.

Everything happens for a reason right!

LOL

I wounder how much I should make with that....*scratches head*
