I have a 2000 Ford GT that is going to make 400+ at the wheels, I want to upgrade the rear end to a 9". Any suggestions??

Currie enterprises or strange engineering but that's WAY overkill for 400 rwhp imo. Plenty of built 8.8s running deep in the 9s if not 8s.

The owner of a local shop talked me out of wasting my money on my rear when I told him I wanted to try either drag radials or slicks this year. He as a 5.0 car that puts down some serious power compared to my car. He runs 10's on slicks, etc. with an 8.8". He even said he has the same rear in his car since he started racing it in the early '90s and doesn't even have the axle tubes welded up. He told me to worry more about getting my torque boxes welded and/or reinforced.
