Ford bringing back BOSS nameplate & engine

Yeah, but this time I can't respond by saying "no, but my 4.6 is faster stock for stock".:nonono:

The average person can't comprehend that though.

I'm just amazed that so many non-car people associate the Mustang with "5.0"

I was talking to this 90 year old guy in a parking lot who liked my GT. He asked me if it was a 5.0 too!

are there any pics of the motor?

is it a MOD-hold-over with 3.7" bores?

it's very hard for a pushrod block to be converted to OHC.it has been done before ie. 3.4 DOHC V6 chevy. the motor was a compromise in every way.

5 litres returns lost torque, but i am not stuck on a number for my motors except

bore > 3.99" that's a number that matters.

I met the guy that does the BOSS package for the 05+. He's a pretty sweet guy. What happened was I was cruisin on my way home and saw a Boss 06 drive by, and was like, "WTF?!?!" so I flipped a u-eey and followed him. But by God, that was an amazing car. Had the adjustable spoiler and all. He said the full package only ran about $6,000 to $8,000.

I've got his card if anyone's interested. I think he owns Heritage Customs (Home of the A.J. Foy Coyote Mustang) in Grand Prairie, Tx.

God I love Foose's paint jobs...
