Can someone tell me what these "C-springs" are?
They are priced pretty good, but don't know anything about them...

They're specific rate springs (verses progressive rate springs) that will lower your car app. 1-1 1/2 inches. Some cut a coil or less off the rear springs because on some cars when these springs are put in the rear is higher than the front. These springs will cause the car to ride harsher than stock springs. They have been around since the Fox body was the new style and were designed for them and their characteristics, but do fit the newer Mustangs.

I installed them on my car and I love them. They are perfect for upgrading your suspension with out slamming your car to the ground. They give it a very natural lowered look and they are very reasonably priced! I have got some pictures of the install with before and after pictures on my website if you want to check them out.

My C springs with no coils cut f or r. It does ride harder but so will most aftermarket springs. It make a night and day difference in the handling and body roll.

I like the rear being a tad higher because it give a bit of a raked look.

That's a great picture. I've put in an order for B-springs myself, and if my car turns out like yours, I'll be quite happy.

I don't plan to cut my springs at all, as I don't want a big drop and I desire the raked look too (a "Daytona rake" as they used to call it in the heyday of Trans-Am racing).

I don't want to hijack the thread, but do you need a front and rear camber kit with the FRPP C springs?

Bullit03 Your ride is clean. Are those wheels stock on the bullit? I like the deep dish look in the rear wheels.

Usually not. With a drop of 1.5" or less, usually the car can be correctly aligned without them. However, any drop beyond that...

Well that's probably what I'm going to get then, is the ford c springs and cut the dead coil off the rear.

guys your pictures of your springs are great. (bullit03) your car looks so bad a$$ without that spoiler and those wheels..

Thanks John 324. I think I'm going to go with the "C" springs as well. I'm going to try them without cutting the coil on the rear at first. If not, I will cut it and try again. I'm going to pick the springs up at gene evans ford on tues.
