My brother said he seen a f-150 run 13.6 inthe quarter mile, it was the harley davison supercharger f-150. He asked the guys if it was stock, he said it was. Do they really run that fast?

I don't think they're as fast as a Lightning... So maybe.
Though I think that's a little fast.

that's probably is true, considering the newer L's run low 13's.

I believe that the Harley trucks use a slightly detuned lightning engine. Can anyone confirm this?? Also does anyone know if the bottom end is the same??

Ok, apparently the HD uses a larger pulley so that's why it's less HP than a Lightning. I think that HD isn't stock if it ran 13.6, he probably changed the pulley.

MotorTrend had a 3 way comparison between other slower trucks.
They ran a best of 14.39 @ 96 MPH. I don't see how it could run 13.6 stock even if MT drove poorly.

And a short blurb about the HD.

no, it wasnt the same as the day he drove it off the lot.

but alot of guys will say their ride is stock even though it maybe has a catback, or maybe he's running a set of drag radials or something.

a stock HD would have a very hard time running 13.6. it would have a hard time running in the 13's. 13.6 sounds like a good time for a stock lightning with an ok driver.

most likely he had a pulley and figured nobody could look and tell the difference, so he just said it was stock. did you hear a considerable whine? if so, he had a different pulley.

the harleys have a 340 HP rated motor which is supposed to run 2 less pounds of boost than the lightning, 8 vs 6 stock. as one person said, this is accounted in the pulley size.

NO it wasn't Stock!! I have a 2002 HD F 150 and the first time I ran it I ran a 14.7@94! (that's pretty fast for a 5600# Truck!!
