Ford Five year powertrain warranty

This may be really old news, but when I was surfing around the Ford vehicles website, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Ford improved their powertrain warranty coverage on all of their cars to five years/60,000 miles! Forgive me if I am the last to know. I did a quick search and could not find a previous posting on this. Chevy still offers 3 year/36,000 miles for their warranty including the powertrain. This solidifies my decision to go with a Mustang for my upcoming purchase.

read it carefully. i have sen advertisements for this that only include 2006 models, and other advertisements that also include 2007 model vehicles.

It includes the 2007 models.....

I got it on my '07 GT purchased three weeks ago. You get a separate sheet of paper that contains the new warranty information.

LOL even tho I am glad to see it too, The bean counters have figured that the quality of the powertrain is good enough to last long enough to get past the 5/60.
my wife says that I spoil everything.
