Ford Motorcraft 3G Alternators

Can anyone tell me if this is a good buy? How is the quality? Note: I am considering buying one from Ebay .... would that be a good idea (seller says item is new and comes with all pieces needed for installation? Otherwise, can anyone recommend any other place for me to buy one from? Maybe post some links on where to go? Thanks.
