What is the story on the tuner that one can purchase from the local dealer? They keep pushing the warranty issue but who does the tuner for them and is it any good?
skip the ford reflash tool. if you ever want to add anything else to the car, you still need to purchase another tuner. the ford tools is so limited in what it changes, plus does not offer any user adjustability.
To answer your questions: the FRPP CAI is made by Steeda, Its C.A.R.B. legal, so if you live in a state with smog checks. Is it any good? depends on how much performance you want, I have one installed on my 2007 GT and i love it, it does provide a substantial gain!
not as much as an SCT or Predator. It comes with a warranty if a Ford dealer installs it.
