Found a straight 96 with a blown motor for $1000. Worth it to throw a 5.0 in it?

I found a 96 V-6 with a blown motor. It has the following.

1995 cobra r wheels in decent condition
1996 cobra hood in great condition
1998 cobra front bumper brand new (aftermarket urethane)
1998 cobra rear bumper in decent condition

Body is mostly straight but multi colored. Interior is poor, and air bags are deployed. Does come with a replacement driver airbag.

My question- Could I put a v-8 in hear for a reasonable amount?

If not, could I get $1000+ if i parted it out?

yes i think if you parted it out, just the hood bumpers wheels and stuff you could get your money back

I would wait till Oct 8/9 and take the car to Moroso Fun Ford Weeks end and make $$$ off of it parting out/whole.

Well, I don't think emissions are a problem in Florida, but you'd have to change to an OBDI computer.

There was originally front end damage to the car but it was repaired with Cobra parts.
