My A/C stopped blowing through the fron vents the other day, and only out of the defroster vents. I found a vacuum leak by the firewall, the hose is sheared off at a nozzle of some sort. So what can I do to fix this, replace the nozzle, or the hose? I took some pics of it.

If there's an orifice valve of some kind in there then replace the hose. If not... any vacume hose that you can fit on each end will work.

Talk about the right time...the other day I finished my h/c/i swap and went to put on the a/c and it does the same as yours...(doesn't blow through the middle vents but the floor and defroster do...) but I don't even see a hose anywhere...on the driver's side firewall under the marking "A/C" the hose appears to be cut clean (probably just came unhooked somewhere)...and I know that is why it isn't doing it...I just don't know where to get the right vacuum hose...and it is hot down here...I need some help

Goto Autozone, they have flexible vaccuum hosing that is easily slipped onto the end of the old hard hoses and the connectors. I've used it a lot... I tend to break some vaccuum lines as I "play" in my engine compartment.

dromeda has it. Replace with a regular vac. hose. Take that end piece and get that size in whatever length you need. The factory just does it a little different with the soft ends and the rigid tube.
