Well, since talk has been a little on the low side around here I thought Id take the liberty of starting up a little discussion :SNSign:

Do you guys ever find yourself yearning for a fox body..? Personally, Ive been aquiring a taste for nice black notchbacks.. theres just such an appeal about a small, lightweight canvas ready to be made your own with cheap, plentiful aftermarket. Sure us sn95ers get similar aftermarket, but always with a twist (intake elbow for example). Also, they are just so inexplicably bad ass, and something about them just gives them a personality. Dont get me wrong, I love my stang, the laser red is so much more beautiful than any fox paint, and the more modern fit and finish, sleek bodystyle and light-years-better interior give the car a well rounded appeal (and I dont know if i could go without the drop top anymore and im not big on fox verts) Everyone loves the sn95 (public, chicks ) and dislike the fox, but it seems to find its way into the hearts of us stangers. Im not doubting my sn95 choice, but just wondering if any of you have gone through this phase as well.

I had one before the 95 and I want another one. I had a 90 GT before, but it was a total POS after I rearended someone that stopped at a green light, then got rear ended on a separate occasion, that spun me out in the snow, and into a ditch. In hindsight, had I known how cheaply I could've fixed it, I'd probably still have it. I'd love to get both a hatch and a notch. Maybe a convertible, too, but I wouldn't mod it.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

I had two 93' GTs before my SN. I would like to get a notchback, but not as bad as I want an RX-7.

I would love a nice notch, but I just can't stand the interior.

We have a red 93 GT 5spd and it's not bad. The paint is ok and it looks sweet with new headlights, but I hate the stock GT body kit. I can live with the interior, but I like the SN95 interior so much more. I told my girlfried that once we're married, I'd consider getting rid of one of our cars. It's a bit of a toss up whether that would be my 95 or her 93.

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind a notchback for an all-out open road racing machine.

Hey grady there is a local hatch that has less than 25k miles or so...bone stock and white with a t5...it is show room perfect. I would love to get it.

I would love to do a notch with a nice motor and rock solid susp. like full MM or griggs on a 5lug swap and some 4piston brakes...just to be an all around terror.

I have an Electric Red '93 Notch, bone stock with an AOD, for now.

It weighed 3,184 lbs with a full tank.

It still has the air silencer, fan, MAF mount, engine lift braces on the headers, etc.

The only thing it has is some pullies on it.

i think we all get a fox/notch craving. I know I do every year...anyone on here see Tim Stockwell's light blue AOD notch? he was doing an old school build - it was on his site>

Not my favorite color combo, but Tim Stockwell can give anyone a fox craving after you see his cars.

I wish I still had my fox, it's one of my favorite cars that I've had. I'd love to have a notch for a daily driver too.

I like the looks of the black notch, just like you, but once you drive a Fox as a street car you never want to again. If was going to gut a car and turn it into a trailer only racer then I'd be a lot more interested.

i havent driven in a fox in about 5-6 years.. i finally drove in one the other day, and who ever said it above me(too lazy to look, sry) is right. you would def get sick of it as a DD... i felt like i was too close to the windshield, the interior was not roomy... i would definitely get one for a weekend warrior, but thats about it... hook it up a bit.. but idk if i could do it every day
