I went to the dealership in 1988 when I was 6 to get the new '89 LX 5.0 with my dad. I was really upset because my dad wouldn't buy the red convertible. In hindsight, he made the right decision

That '89 was my first car 10 years later.

When I was 6, I probably would have thought the Probe GT was a cooler car. What the hell do kids know. :nonono:

Cool!, small world. Do you still have yours? I still have mine. I've never kept a car this long. Its part of my family at this point. I'll probably pass it on to my daughter in a few years.

I remember the day we got it the outside temp was in the mid 30's. My wife and I rode around with the top down all weekend. LOL

I've got the car, but I bought it from the original owner early this year. I'm just 27 but if I'm like my dad ill have it forever. He still has his '70 he bought in high school.
