All,

I would like some feedback, please.

What would you guys pay for an original guage cluster that has had all of the bulbs upgraded to LED's, has had the speedometer 100% rebuilt, comes with a 3 year warranty, and is tested before shipping back to you? (You pay shipping to repair site and I pay shipping back if warranty repair is needed) This would also be the 140mph guage cluster.

PLease share your thoughts! I want to see if this is something that would be of interest to anyone vs buying a used gauge cluster that could have the same issue or upgrading to a newer and more expensive solution. I am sure the responses will be mixed, but I personally want to retain the stock look.

Let me know as I am considering making this available to everyone as I have a partner that has been fixing gauges for many years that is willing to handle the rebuild... I would be handling the rest and the testing.

My question is where are you finding parts to rebuild these speedometers as well as the machine to calibrate the heads?

Current used market is about $150-175 for an 1989 140MPH cluster and $100-125 for an 1990-1993 cluster. LEDs are cheap, circuit boards are available to purchase and can be DIY so really the question and premium would be the value you can add to the speedometer in terms of replacing the bushings and properly calibrating them.
