Hi all.

Has anyone used this? I’ve read some reviews and saw a YouTube video on the install. Looks simple and clean.

Would like to hear your thoughts if you’ve used this.

Looking to put this in a 93 LX 5.0.

Saw the crerwin Vega one, less wattage than the jbl but still nice. Good question about the jack.

Well...you wont need the jack with no spare tire.

Regardless of wattage id take the Cerwin Vega over JBL.

Why wouldn't you have the spare tire? Without a spare tire, you have nothing to mount the speaker enclosure to.

No, the subwoofer mounts in the spare tire.

It is, but still leaves you wondering where to hide the jack.

Yeah it is a cool concept. I'm looking into one for my SN95.

Step 1 is confirm it fits in the spare and allows the floor carpet to sit flush/level. It's 14.145"W x 6.41"D

I think the spare tire rim on my '85 is only 5-1/2" wide. I don't know what the backspacing is.... but that enclosure would be way too deep for my spare.

Not sure if the spare rim got wider in the later Fox years... or what an SN spare rim's width is.

I think there are two different subs, one is listed as "shallow".

@Crigano, @2000xp8. Did either of you actually do this? I saw the infamous project did it, I'm curious if anyone here did.
