frame rail help

the rail directly under the driver side floor pan is rusted completely thru for the first 10in or so and the plate coming off of that to the side of the car is gone. i dont know what the part is called and i need some help figuring out how to repair this. thx in advance. ill get a pic tomorrow.

sounds like the floor frame rail and either the support that goes through the tranny hump or the reinforcement floor pan seat.NPD and CJ will have these.

go to NPD website and you can look at an exploded view of the parts on page 179. page 189 has the floor frame rail.

What year and model?

are you talking about the frame rail and torque box?

i think it is for his 68 coupe. peice might also be part of the firewall depending on how far foward it is.

1968 mustang coupe 289..... its the frame rail that goes up to the front wheel well and back to right around the seat and then stops.... ill take a pic tomorrow and yall will see what im talking about.

so yea all the metal tht hides the fuel line and tht rail need to be replaced but idk wat the part(s) are called

go to the npd website and in the catalog they have a blow up view section.
