Steer clear of www.batteriesareus.com whether on their website or EBAY. These guys are not shipping what you buy. I bought an Optima battery from them on June 15th and still haven't received it. Finally reached him after countless EMails and phone messages. Say's he will take care of it but never does. Wont return EMails or phone calls. Feedback on EBay now has multiple complaints of non delivery from different people.

Stay far far away!!!!!!!!!

I got an email back from the guy saying he was making all his problems right - see what he says to that about your problem!

He wanted me to call him in a bad way.

Probably to sell you snake oil... Looks like EBay has pulled him since it says he is no longer a registered user. He is using the excuse that PayPal didn't send him the payment info. I sent him my copy of the Paypal receipt over three weeks ago -- no acknowledgement. Called him until he answered the phone -- after hanging up on me twice, he emailed me saying the battery would go out on the 20th. Still no battery... Asked for shipping info, -- no reply...

Each time you actually talk to him or read an email from him -- he will actually make you feel like he will make it right, but he never comes through

Just an update: No contact. No Battery. This guy cant do business on EBay any more - but he has a website WWW.Batteriesareus.com.

Lots of empty promises. Don't lose your money like I did...

Where is he located? If he is close, pay him a visit.

He has his shop in Nebraska:

208 North C Street
PO Box 158 Edgar, Nebraska68935-0158
Phone: (402) 224-4444
Fax: (402) 224-3333
Email:
sales@batteriesareus.com for sales information
shipping@batteriesareus.com for tracking information
accounting@batteriesareus.com for accounting / credits information
tech@batteriesareus.com for technical and application assistance
support@batteriesareus.com for computer and website support assistance.

I think he answers all of the EMail addresses himself -- before you give him money. Afterwards he ignores you and keeps your money.

If anyone is local to his shop, stop in and say hi -- but check your wallet before you leave
