Shorten your antenna. I did that, make it flush with your roof, its funny that you never really noticed but when you cut it and put the ball back on it does look better. All you have to do is pop the ball off and cut about a foot or however much you want and glue the ball back on, makes it look a little better.

Yup, thats been done by the guy before me.

I like the antenna idea though. So I just cut it to where I want it to be, and re-attach the ball on the end? Will it hurt the reception on the radio much?

Don't forget about the hanging idle mod. Remember the 1/2 inch copper cap from Home Depot with a 3/16 inch hole drilled in the end. Install this in the IAC hose and your idle speed will drop back as soon as you let off the gas. This may not be free but at thirty-nine cents its as close as you'll likely get. Best of all, I like the way the car sounds now.

I like the antenna tip. You could do an at home lowering kit by cutting your springs or heat them up and compressing them, but I wouldn't recommend it. Remember, good ***** doesnt usually come cheap.

I have done the IAC copper cap. I can't drive without it anymore. Everytime I had to take it out and the RPM's fell SO SLOOOOW I would shift and clutch like crap.

Unfortunately it has it's side effects, but you'll adapt to them as they come along.

This is sooooooo not a good idea.

I guess I am a retard, so What is the IAC cap. Please show me where this is.
I would like to try this myself but don't know where or what it is.

This has been covered to death in this forum. Do a search for slow dropping/hanging rpms and you'll uncover more info than you really need.
