I just adding 2 new tokico 5 way struts, the rest of the suspension is stock. now i hear a knocking sound when the car is moving and i turn the wheel. it comes from the right side & it also knocks when i go over bumps. Ball joints?? Tie rod ends???
My car was making those knocking/popping sounds too. I had already replaced the tie rods when I did the new rack, so I knew it wasn't that. Then I replaced the wheel bearings, which helped a little, but the knock was still there. I just replaced the control arms with the 03-04 Cobra upgrade and all of the noises are gone, I am very pleased.
I had a similar problem after taking it to two les shwabs i finally took it to the stealership and my stearing rack mount bolts were loose my strut bolts were loose and the bolts behind the controll arms for the k-member. i highly recomend finishing off the rest of your suspenion with the rear shocks and matching springs from tokico thats the route i went and couldnt be happier my car feels like its on rails in the twisties settings 4 and 5 are amazing
