Well I did some searching but to no avail. My front crank seal is spraying oil everywhere. The timing cover and seal are brand new. Installation of the seal went without a hitch. It has leaked ever since day one.

I am wondering if there is something else I can do except replacing the seal. The seal I got was from the fel-pro kit for the timing cover gasket. Is there a better seal?

Let me know if you have any experience with this problem. Thanks!!
Scott

Scott, is it an actual projectile spray?

If you pop the oil filler cap off, does it stop spraying?

I replaced mine about two months ago and didn't think to put any RTV between the seal outer sleeve and the timing cover and it seeps there, but no spray. Did your Felpro kit come with two seals like my Trick Flow kit did? One was oversize, not sure if it was for a 351W or what, but it was too big for the snout on my balancer. Good luck!
