I have an 09 GT still under warrenty. (obviously):D. Anyways was looking at FRPP suspension pack because it doesnt affect the warrenty. How is this pack overall; it doesnt include an adjustable panhard bar the Ford tech said it wasnt needed with this pack. Also he strongly suggests against 20's so I was going for 19's With the offset will there be any rubbing underneath?

The FRPP kit seems to be pretty good from what I hear. I don't really think the suspension would be too much of a concern as far as the warranty since it is not likely to make other parts fail. I can't answer the rubbing question because you didn't say what the wheel width or tire size will be. People run 20" rims all the time and don't have problems, so you should be fine. The biggest problem with 19" rims is it has a pretty limited tire selection. If performance is your goal, then 18s would probably be the best compromise between looks and weight. If you like the look of 20s then go for it, but they do tend to be heavier. You should not need an adjustable panhard unless you lower the car a lot. The adjustment is to re-center the rear axle when you lower it a lot, which changes the geometry in the rear.

Sorry, I want to run with the usual tire size for offset. 275 rear and 255 front. ALso how is the FRPP axle-back exhaust? The only reason I want FRPP parts is because its covered in the warrenty if installed by them. And since I have a 7yr/70k mile warrenty and it only has 7k miles on it you can understand lol.

Ok, you should not have any issues with rubbing if those are your sizes and you get the right offsets. I think the FRPP axlebacks are Borla Stingers, may be mistaken, but they should sound nice. Will not give any performace increase though, all axle back systems are for sound only. You can use any exhaust you want though because warrantys can only be voided on items that fail because of the aftermarket part. You won't break anything using a different muffler.

Regarding exhaust and performance. My Roush axle-backs claim to have a 10-12 HP gain. While I can't verify this, I CAN tell you I noticed a perk in the butt dyno. The car seemed more lively at 4K+ rpm. And I have a finely tuned butt dyno, btw. :nice:

cwest good questions. I was looking to do the same thing. But running 19's only(no 20's for me). But you posted befor i did. Well if you find any more out i would like to know about it. Plan on purchasing around christams time frame. But i dont think there should be any problems with rubing with the tire size your looking at running. And if i remember correctly i read that a ford tech said that 19's are the best size for the mustang. Thats why the track pack equiped 2010's come with 19's. Does the FRPP suspention pack warranty replace your factory warranty and replace it with a new 12 month warranty?
