Does anyone know if the FRPP 550 hp supercharger kit requires the alternator relocated? One of bolts on mine somehow has the head stripped and will be a pain to remove.
I'm not sure but have you tried looking at pictures of engine bays that have had this mod done? That might tell you if you have to or not.
It does seem to me however that a lot of supercharger installs (of the positive displacement type) will have to have the thing removed at one point or another but I could be wrong.
Try and carefully tap the thing or get someone to do it for you with the tools and experience. Alternators cost an arm and a leg in these cars that would be way cheaper.
