Selling to make progress on my 87 Gt.
I have owned several foxes and am familiar with their faults and will be honest in this listing as I want the purchaser completely satisfied. I purchased the car to be a DD over a year ago
The BAD:
Supposed rebuilt motor 2yrs ago when purchased
(makes good compression and power but, does consume oil on top end)
Torn top (may agree to replace depending on price)(have glass)
some chips, a few small dings (mostly on hood), scratch on right rear (door to quarter panel, may clean up with claybar)
missing lowerleft front fender plastic moulding, missing center caps for wheels
needs a new speedometer
both seats torn
center console removed but complete/ good condition
currently not smogged or tagged, but can be easily
now that i have convinced everyone not to buy let me tell you what is good,
THE GOOD:
Complete 5 lug conversion from a 99 COBRA incl complete rear end assembly with "rebuilt posi", COBRA CALIPERS,ROTORS,SPINDLES
4.10's
5- 17x8.5" FORD O.E BULLIT WHEELS w/ BULLIT SPARE
5- 245/45R17 NITTO 555 with 80% life
Exhaust shop H-pipe w/2 cats,MAC Mufflers
carpet is newer but generic/not molded
seats and in good shape minues tearing at seams
paint is 90% over most of the car and looks great with a wash n wax
all p/w work
newer shocks kyb's
ADJ REAR U/L CONTROL ARMS (this car hooks and goes)
NO DAMAGE TO TORQUE BOXES OR FRAME RAIL WHATSOEVER
ELEC TOP/MOTOR WORKS
-Near as I can tell this car was never beat up on hard,I never tried to modify it b/c i bought it as a DD, but soon learned 4.10s are quite counterproductive to that goal. If interested make me an offer, might be willing to trade for
79-82 GT 5.0 5SPD in Equal condition.
