The repair manual covers it nicely. It takes but two minutes to do.
That said, I'm sure someone has made an article on doing it.

Good luck.

I could tell you how to do it. Trip the inertia switch, so your fuel pump doesn't turn on. Start the car and let it idle until it dies (few seconds max) in order to relieve the fuel pressure. The fuel filter is in front of the gas tank mounted side to side. Loosen the clamp, pop off the retaining clips, pop out the old filter (you'll get soked in gas, so be careful), pop in the new filter, tighten the clamp, and reset the intertia switch. Cycle the ignition several times to build fuel pressure and check for leaks. You're done.

Be careful with the taking off part. Did it once, and I'll just say that an eyeful of gas isn't a lot of fun.

I'd use the Schrader valve to help depressurize the system. And doing it after the car has sat overnight could help.

Inertia switch is adjacent the driver's side taillight. You have to stick your head in the trunk to find it for the first time.

Careful not to break the clip. I did this, even though they are cheap as hell to go buy at NAPA or something. Also, my friend didn't clip it over the nipple all the way, and I pulled on it to test it, BAM! Pressurized gas to the face.

Careful.

I just unplugged the switch by the drivers tail light, behind the trunk lining and ran it for like 2-3 minutes and then took it off.
