Fuel Filter?

I am going to replace the fuel filter on my 1991 LX 5.0 convertible.

When I pull the hoses off each end of the current fuel filter is gas going to start flowing out the hoses?

yea just a little bit... make sure you point the hose upward to the sky...therefore you will have minimal leakage

And let the car sit for awhile before you do it to alleviate the fuel pressure.

or you can just pull up the inertia switch's red button in the left side trunk area, start your car, wait for it to die and do it that way to relieve the pressure

I always put some vacuum caps on the filter itself to keep fuel leakage to a minimum.
